Can you get high off drinking to much green tea?
My grandma gave me some of this green tea from China, so I steeped some I had two glasses within the same sitting. Well anyways I got off the computer to go to sleep.. and I got this strange sensation as if I was being rocked on a swing or something.. calming and soothing, yes, but also frightening.. Also may have been from lack of sleep, I stayed up all night, but I do that all the time and this doesn't happen. So can you get high off drinking to much green tea?

Tea actually contains a number of mind-altering substances beyond just caffeine. The amount of caffeine it contains is much less than coffee.
People usually do not frequently think of tea as a drug, but I have actually heard some people talk about a "high" that one can get from drinking high-quality tea. It's not like the sort of intense feeling you get from most illegal drugs, but it is more a sort of calming and soothing sensation somewhat like you describe. However, it is likely that sleep loss also played a role in how you feel.
I don't know about all the different chemicals in tea, but I have done research into two of them. You know caffeine, another important chemical is L-theanine. Here's a page explaining what it does:

It may be responsible for the calming effect you observed.
Also, if you are behind on sleep and drink a lot of caffeine shortly before you go to bed, it can have very strange effects on the body. I know a number of people who have described this to me...and they say it feels like a high, and is not always pleasant. (It can result in very vivid dreams which can be cool, but can be frightening too). So I try to avoid doing that.
Next time, try drinking the tea in the morning or early afternoon and see how it makes you feel. You may be able to enjoy the calming sensation without feeling frightened or weird.

That's possibly from waking up in a mid-dream or mid-sleep like state I would think. It happens to me on occasion and is one of the strangest feelings. I know green tea makes you feel good (at least it makes me feel good), though I don't know how that's relevant.

As far as I know, the only thing you might get is a caffeine buzz depending on how sensitive you are to caffeine unless grandma had something else in that tea! lol

no, I've drank lots of green tea and have never felt high afterwards. The stuff you got from china might be laced with something though.

If this was some sort of loose, non branded tea, there could be any number of "other" ingredients in it. If it was simply store purchased then I doubt it was the tea. There are a number of plants that can induce mild euphoria/hallucinations , catnip, for example is one, not that it would likely be in your tea.

Always start your meal using a salad. It'll fill you upwards, making you eat less of the actual meal, and it's way fewer calories than typical deep-fried or cheesy apps.
