Is Casey Anthony Innocent or Guilty?
I have noticed that lots of people have different opinions on this case.To me i believe and think she is guilty, why? because of the way she went about things like not reporting her daughter missing for 31 days, who does that? I mean if it wasn't for her mother she would of never reported her daughter missing at all. Also the lies she said are all amazing. She went about her life like a normal person partying knowing her only baby girl was already dead.I just can't believe there people out there who actually think she is not guilty,my gosh are they blind to all the evidence the state has presented against her? I don't think the jury will find her innocent of any charges.I do hope and pray that at the end JUSTICE is made for CAYLEE.It be a pitty if she got off that easy but i dought it.I don't think her father had anything to do with it as she claims unless of course her attorney JB proves it in his defense for her. What you think the verdict will be? i'm guessing GUILTY hopefully.

Unfortunately yes, she IS a celebrity. Under awful circumstances and because the public is fascinated with the details and outcome of this case. I hope she is found guilty. I believe that being locked up for life with no chance of parole would be just as fitting a punishment as the death penalty. She is obviously an extremely disturbed person and needs to be kept away from other people. A lawyer not connected with the case observed that the defense blew it with their ridiculous story about the accidental drowning, and should have simply said that Casey is nuts. Now it's too late and they're stuck with their lies. If the justice system allows this woman to walk free, then there is no justice. She's a cold, calculating, selfish, GUILTY killer.

She's guilty of murder - but not premeditated. I don't think her intent was to kill the child, just drug her so she would sleep while mommy partied. I think the duct tape was put on Caylee's mouth after death, because of leakage of decompositional fluids. However, drugging a child is a felony; committing a felony which causes the death of someone is murder one. The child is under age 5, that makes it aggravated = possible death sentence. The law is pretty clear. The prosecution would be doing a better job trying to prove the above scenario in lieu of the duct tape as the murder weapon. This definitely wasn't an accidental drowning, because Dr. G hit the nail on the head with her explanation to Casey's Bozo attorneys.

Yes guilty. Dr. G. said it best. In an accident parents report it in hopes that the child can be revived and there is no reason to cover up an accident to that extent including putting duct tape over a dead child's mouth. That doesn't happen. If a kid dies accidentally the parents want to have a funeral. Casey Anthony is such a drama queen that she definitely would have milked her child's accidental death for all it was worth if she could have - as evidenced by the fact that as soon as she couldn't hide it anymore she began making up horrible tales of this nanny and her sister prying the baby out of her arms at a park saying she was an unfit mother and taking off with her. If that was even real she would have reported it right away so she could have been crying on tv for 31 days getting sympathy. She is completely guilty - no doubt.

Not sure I agree with guilty of first degree murder....maybe a lesser charge like 2nd degree. If I'm not mistaken to commit 1st degree murder it has to be premeditated. If she was planning on killing her, she would of had a plan to discard the body...not leave the body in a trunk for days then dump the body half a mile away from her home. Also - her crazy, disgusting actions after the death of her child doesn't prove that she deliberately killed her daughter...it shows me a sick minded person. If she planned the murder, she would have reported the child missing ASAP. I'm also not buying "she drowned in the pool", "My dad abused me" or "My dad knew she drowned"....I do think her death was from a direct result from a bad decision Casey made...like leaving her child alone to party or some sort of neglect that caused her death. So I definitely think she should be held responsible for her death...but not 1st degree...

I think Casey Anthony is guilty, I'm just not sure if she should be charged with First degree murder but I could definitely go with second degree if I was a juror and sleep soundly at night.

I think she's guilty of 1st degree murder, lying to law enforcement. I'm not sure about the child abuse charge since that references giving Caylee to the Nanny.
Right now the only important opinion is that of the jury.
