What's the best guitar for a beginner?
I've been wanting to learn guitar for a while now and finally have some cash for it. Can you tell me what guitar would be the best & also I kinda want to get an electric. I also have a budget of 300 bucks to get a guitar and I know it's not that much but it's all a 16 year old can spare. All in all what are some good guitars that i can learn on nicely as a beginner?
Thanks

Ok, well i play guitar, and i started on a shitty one, and i still loved it. But if you are willing to choose, then this is good! Ok, really there is no GREAT guitar, you have to go to music stores and try them out. You want something that feels right, and that you like. A lower action so you can learn chords easier is great! a fender is always great, but really any guitar that feels good to YOU is fine. I started on an acoustic Olympia, handed down, and with wicked high action...get a low action guitar!!! Electric is good for learning!

Get a Fender or a Dean (I've got a used four-point black Dean for about $180, and it has great action).
Ibanez is good, with Jackson being the cheapest quality overall.
