Can somebody tell me what this dream means?

It sounds to me like just a weird dream, don't worry about it, seriously. Your mind tends to wander when you sleep. So basically don't read too much into it :) I have odd dreams all the time, they don't mean anything, most of them are not metaphorical, You have several dreams a night but you only remember a few and you could have had a dream that shows the complete opposite just you didn't remember it

In all likelihood it doesn't mean much of anything. It is more likely a reflection of your desires played out in you subconscious mind. You mentioned meeting his family. Have you met any of these people before? If not, whether or not your perceptions of their appearances or behavior were accurate could indicate as to whether or not this dream could be something of a premonition. Dreams really don't mean to much. During the day, you were probably thinking about him so that triggered the dream.

well obviously your brain was showing you your desires. Though this could be one of those future dreams (i get those ALOT) and you never know maybe in a month or two you guys will go out :)

I think it's just what you want in the future. Do you want that to happen? A lot of my dreams are what I want to happen in the future. :)
