Is Lebron really that influential to the NBA?

Is his impact on the game so great that when does not win people celebrate his loss, and he is always the topic of whatever happened even if he did not play well?

I mean what the hell, today they been talking about his legacy more than they are talking about the Mavs winning their first ring ever

It's sad that Dallas isn't getting enough credit and attention. I wanted the Heat to lose but damn, whether they win or lose it's always about LeBron James and the Heat. It's truly disgusting.

Dallas deserves praise more than Miami deserves criticism. James played poorly but give credit to Dallas for their hard work and great play. I'm a Celtics fan, not a Mavs fan but the media is getting on my nerves. I don't like LeBron but we get it. He was bad, he's an arrogant jerk. But why not talk about how great this Mavericks team is?

Yeah... its pretty frustrating as a Mavs fan.

But... we knew that it was going to be like this (mavs fans) because thats how its always been. the media, for one reason or another, doesn't want to give dallas credit.

its pretty much just espn. they have an insane east coast bias. but whatever.

we got the championship. you can't deny history!!

Yes, Michael Wilbon wrote an article on the effect of LeBron's decision, the tv viewers, nba.com page visits, etc. all had large increases after the decision.
