Question on Halo: Reach?
What is it that make's you rank up? Is it credits? I don't have Xbox live Gold right now and can't play multiplayer so I'm doing Campaign Commendations but they do not rank me up even if I earn 4000 credits. I'm a Warrant officer grade 1 at the moment, i've only played multiplayer for 2 days.

Halo! Whoa.. I haven't seen vid game questions for awhile..
Well there is one thing that makes you level up. Credits or "CR"
You can get CR by killing people or completing story missions or just playing Forge (Forge won't get you a lot though) Winning Games gets you more CR so do special kills (assassinations). Except in Forge.
Commendations and Daily/Weekly Challenges pull in Credits Big time.
So do these things called "JackPots" that you get if you don't leave Mid-game in many games for awhile, and JackPots are awarded every game (I think).
Warrant Officer One, Two, and Three and very hard to level up. But once you get past Warrant Officer Three, your Captain and it will be really easy to level up again. But then it will keep getting harder upon each rank.

Yep, its the credits alright
But it takes a lot of them to get up any ranks, i'm a field marshal and i need 750,000 credits for 1 rank so 4000 isn't much
If you're only doing campaign then and you want some quick credits then try commendation boosting, there are methods for every commendations just look them up on youtube.
The best one is the splash damage boost where you kill 15 people and get 200c then revert to last save and get the credits again and again and again, its done on the second level with the target locator

It's the credits at the end of whatever you play. Offline, you only get credits for completion, but in multiplayer you get much more. After the match ends, a list comes up showing all credits earned, then it adds those credits to the bar at the bottom. Once the bar is full you level up.

Halo 3, elementary. remains real to the classic Halo gameplay. Halo video games have continuously been the suitable occasion shooters, having some acquaintances over and enjoying Halo a million or 2 became a blast. Halo attain tries to be something else. The singleplayer is oftentimes boring and the multiplayer is basically too un-Halo. for my section the video games flow like this: a million. Halo 2 2. Halo a million 3. Halo 3 4. Halo attain 5. ODST did no longer comprise Halo Wars because of the fact fairly, the only reason it has the call "Halo" in it became to make it sell.
