I want to uninstall a program on my computer, but....?
But it keeps on telling me that the file does not exist and it won't let me uninstall it. The program is an anti-virus program. I am trying to install a new program, but I want to delete the current one. What if anything can I do to uninstall this program?

Which Anti-virus program you want uninstall?
just download the program's Removal tool application, for example if you have Norton Anti-virus, type in Google as Norton removal tool.
Otherwise try this

I would google the program and how to remove. I once got malware that pretended to be a virus program. It took some effort and time, but google saved me. Just google to see if it's safe or not, and how to remove it.
Source(s): I've tried to remove a malware program that disabled browsing, downloading, deleting, downloaded viruses, disabled task manager, forced itself into my startup with constant popups. It was called "BEST MALWARE PROTECTION".
