Can you explain to a noob how Minecraft servers and accounts work?
I downloaded the latest Minecraft (through torrent) to try it out, and now I want to buy it. I have an account on the official website, so can I sign in anywhere and access the same world (server?) that I've been playing in? If I uninstall the version of the game I have and then buy the official one from the website, would that delete my world?

Backed it up successfully. If anyone else was wondering how to do it; Find hidden ".minecraft" folder by using "%appdata%" in Run > .minecraft > saves > copied 'name of your Worlds' folder/s to another location and then pasted it in the same folder of the purchased Minecraft version.

Once you purchase the game from the website, you can log into your account from any computer you wish to. Your game worlds however are saved to your computer itself, so it's impossible to go to the same worlds unless it is through Multiplayer. There are ways to locate the saved worlds and make a backup, however as you are using a Torrented Version, it's harder for us to know how the files are set up for this version.
