Why do waiters never remember my order?

do you make modifications to the menu ? do u arrive to the table late ? or maybe the server is just dense

Waiters sometimes like to show off sometimes by not writing down the orders-especially with a table with like 6 people...they try and remember it..well to all you waiters out there, THIS IS NOT IMPRESSIVE..it just stresses people out who want to go to a restaurant to chill out with their friends, family and who just want their food, the right way and not forgotten...

Maybe you tend to say something uninstresting like "i'll take the same (as previous)" and they just forget there were two orders for that dish..

Try to make it more interesting for them like asking for replacement of potatoes to rice or a not so common drink.

Lifes like that. Maybe change it up some. Make eye contact and order first

coz you look so cool that they want to impress you and they try to look all laid back that they actually arent concentrating and forget your order.

this happens to me a lot, i guess we're just too cool :)

Because they didnt go to college.lol
