How do I get my Windows Phone 7 to alert me immediately after I receive a new Yahoo email?

I am getting alerted 10-40 minutes after I receive the email, and need to be alerted immediately. If I go under sync settings, in the Hotmail account (which I do not use), there is an option to "Sync as new content arrives", but under the yahoo mail that option is not there. So how do I make it so my phone alerts me immediately when I receive a new email on my Yahoo Mail?

Thanks!

Update:

The Yahoo mail is set up through the phones Native Email Client. And I do have it set to notify me, but I am getting notified between 10-40 minutes after I receive the email, and I need to be notified immediately!

You must set your phone up to receive emails through the phone's native email client then enable notifications under the settings.
