I am writing a literary analysis for English, and I need to describe why rivalry is the master plot in Julius Caesar. Can anyone give me some examples of why it is? Thanks in advance!

After Caesar dies, Antony and the Conspirators are rivals because Antony wants to avenge Caesar's death.
Pompeii (I can't remember how to spell it) and Caesar were rivals until Caesar defeated him and got the crown.
The conspirators were rivals with Caesar because Caesar wanted the crown while the conspirators wanted someone else on the throne.
