2008 dodge had a dead battery after jumping it check engine light is on?
I have a 2008 dodge Cummins 4X4 mega cab and today I went to get in the truck and it wouldn’t start so I jumped it and it started right up but now my check engine light is on anyone know what the problem is?

The first thing to take note of is why exactly did the battery end up so weak that you ended up having to boost it?I'd double check the battery post connections make sure their clean/tight and have the battery/alternator tested by a parts store or shop and get the starter checked too , many places will perform those tests for free on the spot.
Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way try to remember that it really takes a good 10-15 mins of hwy driving to fully charge the battery and this should be done at least once a week that also helps to clean the exhaust and engine etc.

The Computer saw a fault (dead battery), It may clear itself after about 12 starts.
