Who am I and What style of Country did I represent?
I began my singing career in the late 40's and early 50's. I am a navy veteran
I served during WW ll. But I never spoke of my service. I recorded hundreds of
songs of which i wrote and some written by others.Also I stared in movies
some of which were related to songs I sang.
Who am I?

I don't know, but Im wanting to take a guess. Roy Rogers- Western style music. Im guessing him because he sang and played in western movies around that time.
