why are some answers on the dog section:?

hi everyone,i am interested in reading your answers to my question, yahoo answers is a forum for people to share there knowledge and experience that they may find helpful to other posters.the community guidelines also state that posters are to helpful when they can be by sharing information that will resolve a question satisfactory for the poster in question.also be courteous with your answers,so my question is over the last few weeks there have been quiet rude and negative answers to peoples questions for example about two weeks ago a 14 year old girl posted a question about what should she do with her dog that had just died.the girl in question was very upset about the dog.and simply asked for help as to what she should do bury or cremate the dog.one poster answered her question by telling her to eat her dog, which i found was a disgusting answer to tell a child to do.i am very interested in your views on why people feel the need to be so rude.if they have nothing to offer in relation to answering a question only rudeness why bother answering at all.

Answers such as "eat your dog" are posted by nothing more than pathetic trolls. These people have nothing better to do with their time except for to post moronic answers designed to upset people.

In such cases, the best method of dealing is either ignore it or report it.

Because poster is either trolling or criminally stupid. Trollers are just wanting attention and are a waste of server space and if she isnt trolling then come on! What does she THINK she should do with it, put it out for the heavy squad? Bury it for Gods sake how is she planning on cremating a dog, in the oven? It costs loads to have a pet cremated so she couldnt do it anyway, why wasnt she asking her parents? No 14 year old is that thick. Had to be a Troll.

And why do people ask questions such as this one when they know the only answers they will get will be ones they dont want to hear? Just to stir? You wont change the masses, however much you want to.

Unfortunately this is one of the downsides of the Internet, being able to write, but not see the individual. I totally agree that people should use some consideration when answering and take into account the fact that there are a lot of children on here. And for sure, the idiot who responded as they did to the question you quote should perhaps be reported. However, young-ish children shouldn't be on here, and if they are, they should be monitored. This place is controlled, to some extent, by reporting. So if you see something you consider to be out of line, please report it, taking time to consider both sides of the story first because there are trolls asking questions (lots!) just as much as trolls answering questions.

It's not just the DS that this sort of thing happens, although people do seem to be unnecessarily judgemental sometimes (me included when I get tired of all the 'shall I breed my b itch' etc. questions!!)

They're what I call 'Dark' trolls and should always be reported due to their sociopathic nature.

Fun trolls are an entirely different matter and can actually spice-up a forum.

The dark ones will have infantile or damaged personality profiles such that 'dropping the hammer in a reading library' gives them a rise. Just remember, they do not know you and you do not know them therefore their judgementalism is superficial. Even if you did know them then storing up their inanties to use against them in later life is quite a sweet option. Employers may search for them too... there is no such thing as total anonymity.

This is really NOT the place to come and ask serious questions. Most of the ones that do ask are themselves trolling and looking for a reaction, which they get, and that serves as an impetus to do it all over again.

We have enough people in here with emotional issues and zero practical knowledge of dogs, the ones that come in here asking, are just looking for validations, not real answers.

If someone is weird enough to ask serious questions about their emotional health, what they should do with their dead animal, etc, they really need to get a life and address these questions to an appropriate pro, not a bunch of strange people who have no vested interest in these peoples problems.

Spend a few years in THIS forum and you too will become jaded as far as what is being asked and how its answered in here daily. See if you can actually find one single answer in here that is not painted by emotional content instead of being completely objective. If someone were to tell that 14 year old that she should dispose of her dead animal by putting it in the trash, something that is being done, she and everyone else in here would have lost it and labeled the answer as disgusting and gross and lacking in emotion, exactly what we need less, not more of in here.

People like that are simply looking for attention, anyway they can get it. The best way to handle it is to simply ignore them and don't give them the attention they are craving.

Idiots are everywhere, and since this venue doesn't seem to be policed very tightly, it's a great place for someone with nothing to do other than try to create problems.

Children asking questions on a place that isn't monitored are bound to read things they shouldn't have to see, but it's up to the childrens parents to see that they only view appropriate material, not up to us to monitor them.

Remember, free speech has it's own problems, but be greatful we have it.
