How do I stop my laptop from going to sleep every 20 mins?
I left my computer running for 20 mins when I came back it had went to sleep, I figured Ill just move the cursor and it will wake back up again, but I had to actually press the power button again, can anyone tell me how to expand this sleep from 20 minutes to an hour? Im guessing it is to help keep the battery charged but I dont want to go away and come back to find it asleep (and thus messing up the loading of my tv show on the internet) thanks for any answers :)
Thank you both so much! Got it changed :)

On your display properties check your power settings. There are options there for both the monitor and your hard drives to power down, sleep, etc. Change them to whatever you want them to be.

that's because you have it set to close after 20 minutes,Right click on blank space on desktop Click on change screen savers browse there and at the bottom you will see power saving click on that it will bring up a window that allows you to set how long to go before computer sleeps, myself i go right to the bottom and select never so it only sleeps when you tell it to.
good luck blacksmith.
