how can i get my pc to recognise another usb port?
the main usb port is broken, and I cant plug my iphone in. Every other usb port says "the usb device not recognised" and then shows the port menu like this

can anyone help? ive not been able to sync my phone since i got it in October and my battery will only charge if the phone is switched off. I think I really need to sync and update the phone but I cant connect the thing to the pc. Any ideas of how to get the pc to recognise the ports?

go to My Computer, Right Click on it and Select Manage, go to Device Manager, Scroll down, if there are any hardware with yellow question marks you must update the drivers.

Also Try Start menu, Right clikc Computer, Manage, Device Manager..
Locate, Right click And Uninstall the Driver.. Then Restart the Computer.
