UGC NET ? validity of Lectureship - either life term or two years?
I have cleared UGC NET for Lectureship. In some websites, they have mentioned that the validity of the JRF / Lectureship is two years. Please let me know that the Validity of the Lectureship is life time or two years only?

JRF is Valid for 2 years during this time period u have to join your PhD Fellowship. NET is Valid for lifetime Lectureship. As there is a difference between JRF & NET. JRF qualified means u r eligible for both lifetime lectureship and research Fellowship on the other hand NET qualified means u r eligible only for lifetime lectureship.
Yes u can write two subjects and obtain NET qualification for both Subjects.
