Northeast Saltwater Fishing Question?
Is fishing usually as good during high tide as it is during the incoming tide or does it die off while the tide is at its peak and then pick up when it starts moving again? Please only answer if you know the northeast waters.

Your best fishing will always come when the tide is moving. As the tide slows, fish, (for lack of a better word) "relocate" and their urgency to strike baits and lures wanes.
Moving tides push bait and forage through areas, allowing Gamefish to set-up in obvious ambush points/spots. As the tide slows the "buffet line" slows, making fish relocate to new ambush areas.
Hope this helps?
