Original Sin or Original Forgiveness?
The act of Adam and Eve eating the forbidden fruit is labeled by Christianity as the Original Sin. They say that because of this Original Sin, all people born afterwards were born in sin. The newborn baby according to Christianity is a sinner.
Islam however goes on to give us a deeper lesson from the story.
It is learnt that after eating from the forbidden tree, Adam repented and God forgave him for God is Most Merciful. This is the lesson given to all Mankind by Quran. It is not of the Original Sin but of Original Forgiveness which shows the Merciful nature of God.
Man is by nature bound to commit sins either of small or major magnitude. God knows this nature of man because He is the Creator. God on the other hand is Most Merciful and is there to forgive man when he sincerely repents. The lesson derived from the Quran is much more complete and gives us a better picture of the nature of God. For forgiveness, all man needs to do is to turn towards God, repent for the wrong he did and promise not to repeat it. God who is Most Merciful then forgives the creation and on the Day of Judgment, this act will not be held up against him.
Thus the lesson which God wanted to give for all of humanity was that of Original Forgiveness rather than Original Sin.
Islam teaches us this lesson and informs us that all newborns are without the burden of any sin on their shoulders. They are innocent.
From the story the theme is easy to understand. God created man – Man committed sin – Man turned towards God for forgiveness – God forgave man for indeed God is Most Merciful.
Let me ask a thought provoking question. Would we, as a parent (creator of our children), ever consider to harm our children for mistakes they make or choose to forgive and correct them?
If we as humans can be forgiving, what more for God, who is All Forgiving? Why does God need a sacrifice when He is All-Forgiving? Why can't He just forgive us when we sincerely repent?
Let me give you another reason to think. If Jesus had died for the sins of all and everyone, what about the babies who are born now? They are still born with sin? How could that be if you believe that Jesus already paid for the sins of all by his death? How do you tally this?
Dot: Waiting for you for long.Everyone knows Original Sin is a fundamental belief of Christianity and Christianity depends on the atonement of Jesus' sacrifice.
So, which woman needed to die for Islam? Why the rant? Why can't you focus on answering the question? If you need to ask a question pose it and wait for people to respond.
If you can't refute, the best thing to do is ignore and move on. Not rant like this!
Dot: Is your profile open? No right? Then, why this advise?
The purpose of Jesus' death in your faith? Original sin correct? Your whole Christianity is based and developed on that concept.
Is Islam based on that concept? How about you dying for the sins of your kids? Or dying for the sins of your parents? Or going to jail for the sins committed by your siblings, or dying for them? Would you do that?
In your religion, YOUR GOD wants HUMAN Sacrifice. In Islam, MY GOD just wants us to ask for forgiveness. I am talking about the RULES of FAITH and you're talking about PEOPLE who are MISUSING FAITH. If you have any cow-sense, you'll understand!

The Islam story is partially true.
Adam did NOT repent, as can be seen in Gen. 3:12, in which he blames Eve. Rather, God FORGAVE him because of His mercy (Rom. 9:16) and because he was the first human being. Then again, God does initiate/give the opportunity for repentance in Gen. 3:9-11 (see 2 Tim. 2:25). Anyways, notice that God spares Adam and Eve a direct cursing, unlike the serpent.
From the ground, from the dust, came Adam's descents.
Deut. 24:16 “ Fathers shall not be put to death for their sons, nor shall sons be put to death for their fathers; everyone shall be put to death for his own sin.
Gen. 3:17 Cursed is the ground because of you;
Adam and Eve were forgiven. It's implied in Gen. 3:21:
The LORD God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife, and clothed them.
Their descendents were cursed in their place (Rom. 8:20-21).
Original sin is FALSE.
Good desire can be found in man (Rom. 7:18, Matt. 26:41, Job 32:7-9) or God would not have interest in him (Job 7:17; Job 15:14; Acts 17:27; Psalm 14:2). Also consider Acts 17:26 and Isaiah 57:15.
This is what the Bible teaches: every person is a child of God until they sin and do not repent of it.
For example, homosexuals do not go to hell because of their sin, but because of not repenting and continuing to live homosexual lives. But if they have genuine desire for God, God can intervene in their life.

Christians believe that baptism "innoculates" children against Original Sin until they can make a decision to accept or reject God through classes and public ceremonies that symbolize their "coming of age" as an adult.
You do raise a valid point that a Father might punish his child for misbehaving, but he would not throw his child into a lake of fire. You also touched on the silliness of the idea that God might require a sacrifice before forgiving the sins of the world, and this does not square with the Christian concept of "God the Father" or "God the Good Shepherd."
But there are problematic passages in the Quran too. And in any religion.

Well, first of all I don't think the Bible teaches original sin. It teaches that we are born with a sinful nature that desires to sin, but newborn babies have never sinned because they don't know enough to sin. If a baby or young child dies, i'm sure they go to Heaven because they didn't know enough to reject Jesus. Jesus died on the cross for the sins of the world, and rose again on the third day, so that whoever puts their trust in Him will be saved and forgiven. Jesus was our subsitute on the cross. The innocent dying in the place of the guilty. All of our sins were placed on Jesus when He was on the cross, and He took the punishment that our sins deserve, so that if we put our trust in Him we'll be saved and reconciled to God. But if a person rejects Jesus, then they will have to pay for their sins in Hell forever.

The Qur'an post dates all of the Bible and nowhere in any other sources do we find literature that supports the reliability of the Qur'ans version of events. With that in mind even if the Qur'ans teaching were true on the matter than all the sacrifices required in the old testament were for naught. Even the sacrifice offering made by Abraham(pbuh) would not have been needed and we all know how Islams story differentiates with Ishmael (pbuh) instead of Issac(pbuh) so your statements are inconsistent with scripture both old and new testaments as well with the Qur'an it self. Colossal fail my friend

Original sin or the sin being passed down from the fathers goes against Ezekiel 18:20 which says the opposite and Galatians 6:7 which states you reap what you sow, not what someone else sows.

the sin of Adam and Eve; loss of original grace and transmission of wounded human nature

By this logic Allah made man predestined to sin so that he could look forgiving when he forgave the man for doing what the man had been programed to do.

Sin = transgressing God's law.
Babies aren't born "transgressing" God's law. We aren't born guilty of sin. Were you born "guilty" of murder? Were you born "guilty" of stealing? Were you born "guilty" of rape? Were you born "guilty" of this and that that someone else committed? Obviously not. We are punished for our OWN sins, not someone else's, and not until we commit them.
