    RUSH!!!!!!!! Fan for 30 years.

BQ: Geddy Lee - vocals, bass, keyboards, he does it all

    Geddy Lee

    Geddy Lee

Jimmy Page - he's awesome, so is Alex.

Neil Peart - BEST OF ALL TIME

    BQ2: 2112

    BQ3:La Villa Strangiata

BQ4: Babe I'm Gonna Leave You

Thanks for the question. Glad to see I'm not the only Rush fan

    out there.

P.S. I have 11 Rush tattoos so I might be biased.

DEFINITELY Led Zeppelin. They were so much more than just a rock band. Their songs ranged from acoustic abstract blues to hard rock riffs. Most people think of Stairway to Heaven when they hear the words "Led Zeppelin," but their depth, talent, and experience will always be unmatched in the music industry. Also, they had the BEST drummer in the world along with probably the BEST guitarist, too. I think Led Zeppelin will never be matched, period.

    BA:

Vocals: Talent goes to Lee, but Plant was extremely versatile, with a voice for everything from blues to metal

Bass: Tie-Jones doubled as a talented keyboardist, but Lee sang. Listen to the bass in Ramble On, and you'll see why I tied them

    Guitar: Jimmy Page. Nuff said

Drums: John Bonham(Neil Peart is the most CREATIVE drummer, not the best).

BA2: Stairway is a bit overrated, 2112. However, Stairway is NOT their longest song.

    BQ3: Can't decide

BQ4: Good Times Bad Times, or Ramble On

Source(s): I've listened to a lot of Zeppelin and Rush.

    Rush, for sure.

    BA:

Vox: That's difficult. I'm going to go with Geddy Lee

    Bass: Definitely Geddy Lee

Guitar: Jimmy Page, but Alex Lifeson is a very, VERY underrated guitarist. Jimmy Page, on the other hand, is one of the most overrated guitarists ever.

    Drums: Definitely Neil Peart.

BA2: 2112. I don't even particularly like Stairway to Heaven

BA3: Subdivisions, maybe? I also love Fly by Night, YYZ, 2112, The Trees (First song I ever heard by them, actually), Freewill, Closer to the Heart, and Spirit of the Radio.

BA4: D'yer Mak'er, because it doesn't sound like Led Zeppelin. It sounds very reggae, and I love reggae. The only other song by them I enjoy is Communication Breakdown.

Yeah, my answer is très biased, what with me being Canadian AND not liking Led Zeppelin much, but mine will probably be one of the few answers to pick Rush over Led Zeppelin for anything.

I love them both, but I like Led Zeppelin a bit more(:

    BQ: Vocals: Geddy Lee

    Bass: Geddy Lee

    Guitar: Jimmy Page

    Drums: John Bonham

    BQ2: Stairway to Heaven

    BQ3: The Trees

    BQ: Black Dog

    :D

Guitar: Alex Lifeson vs. Jimmy Page (Obvious)- i dunno

Drums: Neil Peart vs. John Bonhom- i dunoo

im not a huge rush fan, and im not a huge led zeppelin fan either... so, i dont know. i just like led zeppelin better

    BQ3: dunno

  • Rush is very good but Led Zeppelin is my favorite band so I am going with them. I like Bluesy Rock better than Progressive Rock. Don't get me wrong I do love Rush and have almost all of their albums but to me Led Zeppelin is the peak of Rock n Roll Perfection. LOL

BQ - Geddy has a higher pitch but Plant can really sing the Blues when he wants to - I think Plant when he was younger had more range so I will go with Plant.

Bass Geddy Lee wins against Jones - Jonesy was under-rated but Geddy is one of the best on Bass

Page over Lifeson but again Lifeson is under rated - Page is a guitar God though. He was a bit sloppy at times but no one could milk a song like him except Hendrix.

I have to go with Bonzo because he had a better sense of timing than Pert. Pert is flashier but Bonzo just had that special something that makes a drummer a legend.

BQ2 - Stairway to Heaven is considered one of the best songs of all time. 2112 is mostly a suite anyway and not really a single song. Besides 2112 is not one of my favorite Rush recordings. "Working Man" is my favorite Rush song because it has a little Blues in it. LOL

BQ3 - Whoops I named Working Man in the previous section.

I also love Necromancer from Caress of Steel

BQ4 - When the Levee Breaks but I could list at least 20 other classics

Rush although inspired by Led Zeppelin wins it by a landslide

    Geddy Lee

    Geddy Lee

Alex Lifeson (I know that this is against the flow!)

    Neil Peart

    "2112"

"2112" is my favorite Rush song and I found a jukebox at a pool hall to play it completely for 50 cents once. It really annoyed a bunch of the hip hop crowd. I was laughing all the way through it!

    "Dazed and Confused"

    Led Zeppelin for sure!

    Robert Plant

    John Paul Jones

    Jimmy Page

    John Bonhom

    "Stairway to heaven"

    "Tom Sawyer"

    "Whole Lotta Love"
