It's just very emotional and the storytelling is okay I guess. I really don't get why it's so great either. To be honest, I don't really see what's so great about old Eminem. I end up liking 4 or 5 songs off of each album but as a whole, they're just not that good.

I love Eminem and I'd honestly rather just listen to Thank You by Dido instead of Stan. It's a good song, but it gets old quick. Most of Em's stuff is still good the 100th time you hear it, but Stan isn't.

It's incredibly cleverly written, the persona of Stan is adopted so realistically, the story is incredibly tragic, there is a twist at the end, and the issue of suicide is presented in an utterly harsh, and brutal manner, waking lots of America up to its utter horror.

It's a great song, but you can have your own opinion.

It's one of his best songs. Not lyrically, obviously but story-telling wise it's one of the best ever. A lot of people.. famous people could relate to it and it's just a classic.

Its just emotional. Hellbound is his best song.
