You can also use IMAP for free. With pop3 you must put all the mail in your inbox and mark it as not read. With IMAP I believe it will retain your file structure and download all. You will have to experiment.

If so, do you know which External HDD's would work? Thanks (BTW, Restore by Lenovo does not work on my older pc..I do not know why, but, of course, it is no longer under warranty)
