Frontline Plus Tick and Flea Meds?

I just applied Frontline Plus Tick and Fleas on my 2 year old Pomeranian. Is it safe for us to pet or touch him on the spot where we applied it or anywhere on his fur? If so, how long should I wait before petting him?

Update:

I didnt apply the meds to his fur. But the label says it spreads all over his body so...

Once it's dry you can touch and pet the area where the product was applied. Frontline doesn't move over the top of the skin but under it thorugh the fat layer.

You should have applied the meds to the dog's skin, not his fur. I know some does get on the fur, but on a Pom with such long hair it would be down by the skin.

I would not get the flea and tick meds on my hands if I could help it. I have shelties and I handle and pet them after applying their flea meds, just don't pet them across their shoulders where I have applied the meds until it is all dry.

    Hope that helps.

I usually give our dog and cats 24 hours before I go anywhere near the spot that I put the flea product. The rest of your pet's body is safe to touch however.

do no longer recognize no count number in case you get software the place you reside - it is going of their nutrition and prevents the fleas' existence cycle by using making the eggs fail to hatch. Very powerful - no longer very much less costly. Google for software flea administration.
