Laptop for Music Production?
I want a laptop that is best for music production. I hear ASUS and MAC are good. So which ones better? I need a laptop for everyday use too.

Asus is okay, but if you want a PC (with Windows 7) go with Lenovo for reliability and just overall more solid laptop. If you want a Mac (with Mac OS X) then go with a Macbook Pro. I recommend a Macbook Pro for music production since audio drivers work without a hitch , while ASIO (what windows uses) drivers and other drivers CAN be a pain on Windows. Mac computers also run most audio production software (Logic, Garageband, Reason, Record, Studio One, Pro Tools, Reaper, Ableton Live, [and others like Cubase but Cubase can be buggy], but all other programs usually run butter smooth and with little to no fancy set up required. Most USB MIDI controllers work without drivers on Mac, and Apple computers usually use slightly to much better components to build their computers in comparison to other laptop manufacturers. In conclusion Mac's can also run Windows using Bootcamp. So in essence you can run virtually any program on a Macbook Pro, while Laptop PC's are generally only able to run PC only software.
