The best response would be "lemme hear you spit something as good as Nas right now."

Also ask them if they are able to be witty, tell stories, come up with amazing punchlines and metaphors, use double/triple syllables, come up with double-entendres, be poetic, have a good flow/delivery and wordplay, etc. while rhyming and sound good while doing it.

Ask these people those questions and watch them look like a deer in headlights. I wouldn't be too annoyed with this to be honest with you because people who say stupid things like that are usually really ignorant and not talented at anything in life.

Ask why? and they say because all they talk about is bitches and money and cars...you respond not all, and they say its all computer generated...and you say not true...(unless you listen to wayne, drake, soulja, that does take no talent) and then you site such artists as Nas, AZ, Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul...artists that use real instruments.....and talk about important, serious, or fun but lyrically amazing things....metaphors, paradoxes and such...and then you find out what music they like...

Rock: Tell them about Public Enemy

Jazz: Tell them about Tribe Called Quest

Reggae: Tell them about Damian Marley

Country: Tell them its annoying and repetitive and to listen to Everlast

Pop: Tell them to kill themselves and hand them a rope of proper length

how about you go on a long pedantic and highly educated rant to prove them wrong? It usually works for me and gets niqqas mad pretty easily.
