My friend is in the car and i ask him to help me scratch off the tickets, as were scratching were losing but then he scratched one and won 100,000. I check the ticket and almost crap myself. I cant believe it and i tell him im rich oh my God. He then snatches the ticket from me and says "its my ticket i scratchd it" I said no its not i bought the ticket its mine. He starts saying how no its his so i pull him out of my car, we get in a fight and i manage to get the ticket back. he then starts screaming its his ticket. As i tell him no its not its mine he asks to split the money because he scratchet it. What do i do people? WHY IS HE ACTING LIKE A PRICK

This is why when I buy a lottery ticket, I always do it alone, scratch it alone or match the online number alone. And if I win, I won't say anything to anybody. Too many people fight over a lottery ticket.

Your friend has shown his true color. He is not really your friend. He is a greedy who doesn't have any shame.

Legally, if you bought the winning ticket, then you can claim the winning prize. It doesn't matter if your friend or Obama or Sarah Palin scratched the ticket. It's your ticket, so it's your prize money.

However, since you won $100,000, it doesn't hurt to be nice and give your friend like $3,000 for scratching the ticket and having the possessed luck of winning the lottery.

SIgn the back of the ticket. Then it's yours.
