Travel from Milan to Paris?

My fiancee and I are going to Europe for our honeymoon. We are flying into Milan and leaving out of Paris. Where should we go through Italy to get us first into Nice and then Paris.Need help mapping it out.

Update:

We want to travel to different cities in Italy and then make our way into France and first go to Nice. What route should we do?

Milan is in the North of Italy and if you want to visit Italy you have to travel in the opposite direction to Paris or Nice. It also depends which cities you want to visit in Italy.

Trains are good and frequent and there are many flights between main cities too, so you could do any of the following: Venice, Florence, Rome, Naples, Amalfi coast and Capri. You can then either fly to Nice or go by train, stay there and then take the bullet TGV train to gare de Lyon Paris or fly from Nice airport to Paris. Finally fly home from Paris.

You can do the whole trip by Euro rail . It really depends on how long you have at your disposal and how much you can spend.

Best wishes for your nuptials, and have a wonderful honeymoon!

You are spreading your selves too thin. You would be better off spending more time in fewer cities. Something like London or Paris you could spend 5 or 6 days in alone. Keep in mind that if you want the louvre - that is easily one whole day right there. Maybe if some of you really want certain cities and other want others you should go your separate ways and then meet up back in Paris. I would combine your london and amsterdam trip as they are close. Maybe the people in your group that want barcelona should do that while the rest of you see milan and Rome. You definitely need more time for Rome to. If I were you I'd just pick 3 or 4 cities and really get to know them. Maybe london, paris, Rome. Or Paris, Amsterdam, Barcelona. Or Paris, London, Milan, Rome. Or Paris, Barcelona. Rome, Milan. Or London, Amsterdam. Paris and maybe one other - either an italan one or Barcelona, but not both. Think quality, not quantity. Check out eurorail passes. Google them. They are the way to go! The trains in europe are exceptional!

hummmm well, just take a map, or go to www.sncf.fr, the best way , less expensive way too is train, you will love it, compare prices etc.....

Sometime you can find great air deals for Paris-nice, but just be careful about the airport it lands to in Paris, it says Paris but it sometimes 1h30 min from Paris.

So i would recommend that you check out the train, euro rail too...

    you could be surprized

    bon voyage
