Sharapova to win Wimbledon?

she was the favourite before a match was played and is now the huge favourite to win the title with so many big names out. the only problem i can see for her is a tricky semi-final vs bartoli but i think she will come through and win wimbledon.

Now that Serena is out, and Venus looking like she is gonna lose to Pironkova, this is Sharapova's tournament to lose. She will be the only remaining player in the draw to win a Major and 1 of 2 (Bartoli 2007) to reach a Major final.

She should down Cibulkova and the winner of Bartoli/Lisicki won't challenge her. Sharapova's biggest threat is Kvitova. However, Kvitova has such a terrible mental game and will collapse midway through the match.

Cibulkova just beat the #1 player in the world. Why wouldn't she have a shot? They're 2-2 all-time.

Update: Well since my favorite player is out, my money is on Kvitova to win it all.

Yes, Sharapova has made a nice comeback, but I say that Pironkova wins it all.

Jon Wertheim of activities Illustrated additionally thinks so. He thinks Sharapova will beat Serena Williams in the finals and Venus in the semis. as much as i could like to establish sharapova win, it is wishful questioning at suited to think of she is going to overcome Serena and Venus.

I believe so, she had the talent and ability. But obviously there are many other great players out there also. But overall i just like her chances
