Any tips on how to draw a tree?

Drawing with any medium, if you have any tips for me i would very much appreciate it! :)

    Stick to the trunk and leaf the top alone!

    is it you sitting there drawing it in life or from an image?

    if an image use the grid technique, draw out a grid on you image and your paper/book (same size obvs) and draw whats in each square that matches :)
