How to find a lost iPhone using the phone number?
My mate lost his iPhone at a gig, is there any way that we can track where it is using the phone number? I also have an iPhone, is there any sort of app that would track it? Every programme similar to that requires his phone to have the programme too, which he doesnt. Does anyone know if theres a way to track it?

You can track it if the phone already had mobileme installed, but you can't track the iphone by the phone number as someone would just change the SIM card. However if he gets in touch with his call provider they might be able to trace the usage by the serial number, has he reported it missing?

No I don't think so but it would be a good idea to call AT&T becuase when i bought my iPhone (AT&T Store) they wrote down my serial number and IMEI number so my guess is if anyone tries to reactivate the phone AT&T would have those serial numbers on file calling AT&T would be a good idea
