racing games for ps3?

can anyone suggest some good car or motorcycle racing games for the ps3? i have tried a few but nothing really kicks a## like the old midnight club dub edition that was on ps2.

    I agree. Need for Speed Hot Pursuit may take a while to get familiar with, but eventually you'll enjoy it alot.

    Dirt (highly recommend you get dirt 2 and dirt 3)
