Is it legal for professional people to use ones IQ as an excuse to not help someone in need?
I'm wondering this because I am unsure if the IQ is only meant to test the intelligence of the human race or if it is meant to be used for the purpose of opening the correct doors in terms of helping people who have low IQs?
Please can someone tell me if using the IQ test as an excuse, to not help someone, is legal or not as I am a bit frustrated on this whole issue?
Thanks
I have Asperger's and I wanted to know if it was illegal to justify the IQ testing of certain individuals (in this case, myself) to help them move out and to get further help if and when they need it - in terms of financial help (some people including myself can't manage ourselves financially or even filling out forms and stuff etc... etc...). And I have been wondering this for quite some time.
So... yeah :S
I'm unsure if I should go down the route of Supported Living or just move in with a friend who knows more etc... :S

This is not ethical. Sure of that. Companies are really not ethical. If I was President of the United States, I forced Companies to take a disabled person or somebody who is not like the others. People of very high or very low intelligence often suffer in today's society (lack of adaptation, suffering, etc ...)..
Accurate IQ tests (only accurate) stay a valid way to assess one's intelligence. You seem very concerned with morality and justice ? Do you want to change the world ? I have found an interessant link:

Okay I am not a lawyer but that can't be legal, that doesn't mean that it doesn't happen but that is wrong and messed up. If this is happening i would go to whoever you suspect direct supieor or to a lawyer who specializes in equal oppurtuinity.

It's not illegal it's just bad mannered ignorance and snobbery.
