POLL: I have a rash should I go to the doctors? (PICTURES)?

http://tinypic.com/r/r0qzom/7 (this morning)

http://tinypic.com/r/8z0nd3/7 (this afternoon it got worse and more itchy so I put anti-itch on it)

I have a rash with clusters of very small bumps on the same area of each arm. Yesterday I noticed my arms were very itchy in that part so I itched them and when I woke up I had tons of little rashy bumps. I itched it a couple more times during the day and they became even more inflamed. I don't know how I got them, the only thing I could come up with is this new lace shirt I wore the other day?

Should I go to the doctors? My arms have lots of bumps and it itches!!!

Update:

Yeah I normally have really smooth skin :(

You should do whatever you can to not scratch the area. If you haven't changed any body soaps or detergents for your clothes and towels then you came in contact with something else that is causing your skin to react. When you scratch the area your skin releases histamines and it will only make it itch more. Its only been one day so I wouldn't get too worked up. If it worsens or is still there Thursday I would call your Dermatologist and tell them whats going on, add a couple of days to the actual amount of days you've had it to get you an appointment sooner. The doctor will ask you when he or she sees you then you can tell them how long its been there. No biggie, just helps get you in the door quicker :)

All of these people telling you to RUN to the doctor or hospital? At worst its an allergic reaction to something you have come in contact with and if that's the case your arm will still be there next week trust me. All the dr will do is give you a script for something to wipe on it and probably something to swallow, both of which will clear your arms up in about a week or so and cost you who knows how much for the doctor and scripts. Letting nature take its course will probably take, ummm, a week or so. If it gets worse go to doctor.

Yeah, see your doc, the fact it's on both arms, same area, is the clue. gentle mild soap/water, cortisone cream over the counter few times a day, bring dress/blouse you wore to the doc.

Sometimes manufacturers put formaldehyde in clothing to keep it "fresh" looking, you need to know. Looks worse in 2nd picture, take pics to doc. get your money back from whom ever sold you the dress and why or complain to your local BBB/attorney general. or the FDA.

GET some Benedryl capsules the one that you can break open and take them the rash will leave and get some cortaid cream that takes care of the itch.

If that does not handle it then go to the doctors.

You are allergic to something either you ate it or you touched something or something.

    The benedryl stops hives.
