Top recommendation for digital piano?

Need digital piano w/top quality action/sound, that also looks nice for home with nice cabinetry & finish. Have looked at Yamaha YDP V-240, Kurzweil CUP-2, Kawai CE 200. Overwhelmed by the choices, don't understand some of the differences like Yamaka Arius vs. Clavinova. Any recommendations from experience?

Yamaha Clavinovas are very good and well established. It is their , I think, 5th generation of Clavinovas already. Arius may be a newer line of digital pianos. Why not visit a Yamaha dealer and ask for more details? If you prefer a more basic digital piano, the YDP series by Yamaha may satisfy you.

I study with a Yamaha Clavinova model CLP-220PE. It is very high quality. The keys are weighted very similarly to that of a real piano - no cheap, thin, plastic keys. The sound is as close to a real piano as a digital piano can get. There is a metronome tool, a record tool, and several voices to choose from, including grand piano and digital piano. You can plug earphones in, if you so choose. It's a very good-looking piano, as well. Shiny and black and very far from being an eyesore, though I suppose you could choose the brown one. (The bench is also very comfortable. Haha.)

I've never owned an Arius, but I think that's more of a digital piano being a digital piano, and the Clavinova is more of a digital piano trying to imitate an actual piano. I'm not an expert on this, though, so I cannot be sure. I can only recommend the Clavinova because I've had good experiences with mine.
