'01 Chevy Blazer windshield wipers missing spot on windshield?
So when you're inside the car and looking at the windshield, the wiper on the left seems to be missing this huge spot right in the middle of the way it's supposed to be wiping, which in general is the spot where I look to drive lol. Does anyone know how to fix this? or what part I need to get to fix it? I have brand new wiper blades, they're the Rain X latitudes I think. So yeaaa.... I'm kinda thinkin maybe the whole arm that holds the wiper blade needs to be replaced but Idk

It would appear that the spring-loaded down pressure of the wiper arm is insufficient to press the blade against the glass in some areas of it's travel.....try bending the arm by pulling it away from the windshield and bend it in the middle slightly to apply more downforce to the blade. If that fails to correct the situation, install a new arm....after 10 years, the spring may be getting weak. Some aftermarket blades like Rain-X are heavier in design or not as flexible as standard ones and can cause issues like yours....I prefer to just use standard equipment Anco or Trico blades of good quality.
