Is it wrong to try to be like someone you admire?

if you admire someone (teacher, family friend, etc) is it wrong to want to be like them. i understand i am my own person and i have things i like to do that i will never give up but is it wrong to try to be like them especially if it seems like they are living a really happy life?

it's not wrong unless and until the person you're trying to be like is right...if you are trying to be like your teacher then it's good bt behaving similarly like him or her might frustating sometimes... take their positive qualities and try to implement it according to your personality in your own way.

Emulating someone in a positive way that enhances who you are is good; becoming someone other than yourself is bad.
