Did I bomb my interview or was it successful?
I just had an interview today at a learning center and I'm not sure how it went. I said that I loved to work with kids and I really tried to sell myself with my stories and lesson plans. I'm pretty sure i answered all the questions positively except 1 which I think I flubbed mostly because I forgot a book title and a game I was explaining. The person interviewing me was really nice and she smiled and excellent a few times after some of my answers. Finally, the interview went for 15-20 minutes. So...what do you think? Did it go well or not so well? Thanks!

These interviewers have interviewed several applicants, usually they'll become accustomed to faking a smile and laughing to seem nice. They don't want to scare you, they need you you as much as you need them, so they smile and such. Now, that said, you'll have to be a mind-reader to really tell what she thinks of you. Body-language, think of how she sat, etc. It was probably successful. Don't worry! She's probably going to overlook your slight error if you have a good education or outstanding skills.

I guess you were successful. You probably should've practiced more with your interview, so you don't get messed up on that question. Also, when you go to an interview, you should shake hands with the person you're talking to when you come to the interviewing room.
