If you had to lose one sense, what would it be?
Vision and be a blind bat
Hearing and be a deaf granny
Smell and be an unknowing eater of rotten foods
Or touch, and be unaroused forever

I wouldn't mind being deaf. 1) I wouldn't have to hear every dumb thing that my mom says. 2) I would just make up my own music or sing old songs I knew before going deaf but be blissfully unaware of how awful & retarded I sound or of other peoples bad taste. 3) No more getting startled 4) my other senses would be heightened. 5) If you can't spell you can't talk to me, ha ha.
I would miss a lot of things like nature sounds in spring, a really great song, feelings associated with certain sounds but I suppose I'd get used to it, if I liked a guy I'd always wonder what he sounded like because sometimes when I like a guy it makes me warm and fuzzy sometimes if he has a certain voice. If I was deaf I'd hope I wouldn't have ringing in my ears, that would really suck.
Source(s): I was partially deaf from age 3-5 and it wasn't so bad except for the ringing in my ears sometimes. I always had to guess what people were saying a lot. - SmartyjeansLv 510 years ago
