Full disk space? Local disk C:?
Hi, just need some help in regard to computer trouble.
I'm fairly ignorant when it comes to computers and so if you intend to help, please go about explaining the step by step instructions.
I don't have too much downloaded onto my computer, however it states that my local disk C: is full. I had an available 500gb at the beginning, and mainly only have photos and a couple of movies. Hmm..
I need help to find out what is using so much space and how to delete things that are no use to me, but are taking up a significant amount of space.
I am using windows, samsung r540. Thanks so much for your help!

If you right click a folder then select properties, you can see how big that folder is in terms of space. 500Gb is quite easily filled depending on how many programs and movies are on your computer. Look up the folders where they are contained (Program Files, My Documents) to see just how much room they're actually taking up.
Deleting is easy, just right click whatever you want to delete then click delete. or you can just select the file and press the delete key. Make sure you also go into your recycle bin and empty it otherwise it will still be stored on your computer.
All the best

Delete unwanted softwares. For that go to start, control panel, add or remove programs/ uninstall a program/ select unwanted and uninstall.

open >Local disk > right click on files and folders>properties> check the usage size.
if that did't match with your drive usage then use a file cleaning software that finds large and hidden files.
