How do I get back to yahoo mail classic?
I recently acquired a new version of yahoo mail. It's not the beta mail, which I had for a while too, but something else. I detest it but unlike with beta mail, there doesn't seem to be an easy way to switch back to classic mail. Can anyone guide me in this? Thank you!

As of May 31st, you can no longer switch, Yahoo has removed the links to return to the classic. But some users said that when they lowered their screen resolution to it's lowest, a message popped up asking if they wanted to switch to the classic mail. Click Yes. Then restart the computer. You may need to sign out and back in also. On your control panel, double click Personalization, then click Display Settings. Make sure you restart the computer. You can give that a try.

There are large numbers of users on here with similar issues. Two ways to back to the other mail that I know of.The new beta mail they say it's 2X faster it's really 10X slower I had it I lost more than half my mail folders.I did a live chat session w/Yahoo told them if I can't go back I will leave yahoo they switched back. Two ways to switch back you can go & do a like chat session with a Yahoo customer service rep/agent like I did.To do this go here.Click on the link below to do your live chat.

And the other way is if you reduce your screen down just not sure how far down. But if you reduce it down far enough you will see an option to switch back. This will not switch you back to the all new mail it will switch you back to the Yahoo classic mail.Or you can just try emailing Yahoo with your issues that will take some time 3-4 days if your lucky.

Yahoo! Mail Classic still exists but Yahoo is strongly encouraging all of their users to use the newest version of Yahoo! Mail. You will need Internet Explorer 7, Firefox 3, Safari 4, or Chrome 5, or newer.
This is the latest from Yahoo help dated June 20, 2011.
They indicate Classic will remain but give no method of getting there. Turning off Javascript or lowering screen resolution may get you back. (See end for how to turn off Javascript)
"At this time, we're encouraging all users to switch to the newest version of Yahoo! Mail which has a brand new design and has our most advanced features. If you would like to stay on Yahoo! Mail Classic, however, you can do so. Please note that you'll continue to see prompts to upgrade to the newest version of Yahoo! Mail in the coming months, but Yahoo! Mail Classic will remain an option for you. Eventually, you will have the option to opt out of upgrading; and you will no longer see these prompts."
How to turn off Javascript.
If you are using IE go to tools ⬠internet options ⬠security. Click on the "custom level" button, go to the scripting section and disable active scripting. Once done you can return to the previous settings.
If you are using Firefox go to tools ⬠options ⬠content. Click on disable Javascript. Once done turn it back on.
