I need advice on owning a German Shepherd?
Please read all of this. I have been considering getting a German Shepherd puppy for a long time, and have been doing lots of research on the breed and proper training and care. I've researched things on the breed, but now I want some genuine advice from people who actually own a German shepherd, what its like to raise them, things I should and shouldn't do, things they seem to like, anything that will help.

Personally my GSD is great but from experience what I can tell you not to do is allow it to bite. Even play biting. No matter what I do even when my GSD is playing she still can bite pretty hard. Do not tolerate it. Also my dog LOVES to play with a soccer ball. If yours os real into chewing on stuff and having toys I suggest just go to costco and buy big things of toys. It doesnt matter what toy you buy or how much you spend on it, it is NOT indestructable. Trust me! Other than that really you just gotta see what your dog is like. All dogs are different. My godmothers GSD hates toys. just likes to run a little bit and then relax thats all.
