How do I get a baby raccoon out of the barn wall?

There is a baby raccoon in the barn wall and we don't know how to get it out. We tried putting food at the hole that it comes in, but it would come out, and the cat won't go up in and get it. My neighbor is going up to her friends house tomorrow to get a trap for my dad to use, but we aren't sure if that will work. Any ideas? However, this is the 3rd raccoon that we have seen. The one mom, my neighbor shot, and the other mom was killed when the neighbors were cutting down trees, the one baby, my neighbors have that in a cage and are keeping it as a pet.. I held it, it's so cute. Then there's the baby that is stuck in the barn wall.
