5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent toy! Every kid should have one, September 22, 2008

Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars

I found this at my local toy store and i immediately knew my kids had to have it. Though the product says for 3 and up this can be played with by children as young as 18M. The product has a bear stretching his arms out and on each arm are various basic skills your child can practice, all in one spot! there's learning to lace and tie(like tying a shoe), learning how to button, use a snap(like on pants), then learning to use those snaps like on a fanny pack or backpack, zip up a shirt, and use a belt. i think this toy is adorable and can really teach kids in a fun way the basic skills they need to know.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cute and useful, December 16, 2008

This is a nice alternative to the dress-up stuffed animals out there; however, my 3-year-old doesn't usually choose to play with it. He will oblige, though, if I initiate involvement.

2.0 out of 5 stars Difficult, poor craftmanship, November 7, 2008

Let me preface by saying that I usually LOVE Melissa and Doug products, and that they are usually well-made and nicely constructed. However, this one misses the boat, because some of the items are simply using cheap materials that are difficult to fasten and unfasten. Quality fasteners would have solved this. (snap, buckle, and belt are the specific items that are difficult for a little one to do -- even I have a hard time with the dog-collar styled buckle.)
