How To Make An Airsoft Crosman P-50 Shoot Faster And Harder?
I have an Crosman Pulse 50 that I picked up last year for 5 bucks brand new at a garage sale. Its an EBB which of course makes it very weak. How can I make it faster, possibly convert it to stronger batteries, or disable the blow back function? Also the gun only has about 140FPS and goes about 35-40 feet where you can't really even feel it. How can I make the spring stronger without buying a new one. Or any other ways to make it stronger. I'm not looking to buy a new gun, just trying to make this one better if possible. Thanks.
I took out the blowback "rod". Now the gun is automatic. I don't know why, but I like it anyway because i believe it is faster now. I think the safety switch may actually be a fire selector. I haven't tested it yet but. I twisted it one way and took it off. After taking out the "rod" it shot automatic. I put it back in but haven't tested it yet to see if its semi-auto again. Yeah I should test it before writing this but I will say later.
Ok so I tried it in its original state and it is still auto. It still may be a selector switch because it doesn't function as an actual safety. Now that I got it faster. I still need to make it stronger. I have a spring from an Crosman Stinger P-30 which broke so I tore it down as saved some parts. I believe the spring is the same size because the guns were pretty much identical besides the fact that one was spring and one is electric. The spring in the P-50 is about 3/4" so I would have to cut the other. How can I be sure they are the same size and confirm how long the spring is without taking it out of the gun ( haven't figured that out yet. )

I wouldn't suggest really spending any money on it. First of all, it's a Crosman, which is regarded as a very bad brand. Anything you do to it now, will probably just destroy it. You should be disabling the blowback already, to save battery power. To increase the power though, a stiffer spring will just ruin the internals more so I suggest finding a way to get more compression.
