Did you know Yahoo charges a fee for making airline reservations?

I am hoping someone can clarify why I am charged $20.97 for booking airline tix via yahoo. I could have gone to a half dozen other sites and received the same rate with no charge. I did not know I was being charged until my credit card statement arrived. Has this happened to you? Did I miss something?

Yahoo does not charge a fee for making airline reservations. I went to the Travel section and they said that the price they show covers everything (as long as you agree to use an e-ticket). If the price has a plus sign after it (155+), you are warned that there will be other fees.

The airlines can charge a "facility fee" of $18. And a "federal fee" of $3.70. And other fees.

If you are sure that the fees don't apply to your ticket, call 866-562-7219 or go to help.yahoo.com to get your money refunded.
