ok im new to virgin mobile and i have the samsung intercept and i pay $25 why do i get charged taxes when the card just says $25.
do i need to get the 35 dollar card or wht card

The amount listed on the card is for the usage of the phone only. The bigger amount ($35, $45...) just means that you can use your phone for a longer time in between account recharge.You still have to pay taxes along with the stated value of the card.
