Maplestory file help (MSSetupv99.exe)?
I recently downloaded Maplestory, thinking that it would only take up around 3 GB on my laptop - instead, it's eating up over 6 GB of what little memory I have left. I poked around my hard drive and found a single file named "MSSetupv99.exe" that was a whopping 2.39 GB. What exactly does this file do? Is it safe to delete it after the game finishes installing, or would deleting it mess up the game/future patches?

Where exactly did you find that? Did you download maplestory directly from the website when it was version 99? If you did, you can go ahead and delete that, because I have a MSSetupv99.exe and its just the setup so its pretty useless. Unless you quit and remove it from your laptop, you can go ahead and reinstall by just double clicking it and running the setup. I save my game setups just in case, but you can go ahead and delete that one, its completely safe to delete and won't mess up your gameplay. But, if your sure that you wanna delete, by all means. BUT I am 0.00000001 percent that it will not screw up your gameplay..... But anyway, I deleted mine and its all good.

that is an installation file you can delete it if you want it is safe.
unless you haven install maplestory on your computer.
if you done that u can delete it already.
