who else do you think of when you think of the beatles?

Why did I buy all of their vinyl albums back in the day when I don't really like them as a band. But I do like George and John. Pluse they don't remind me of any rock bands, such as the Stones, The Who, or The Animlas, they were all much harder and bluesy than the Beatles ever could be. But the main then I think of is when I heard their name is pop/rock.

I think of the Beach Boys and the Kinks.

Maybe Kinks, Dave Clark Five, Lovin' Spoonful, Hermans Hermits, Monkees . . think they're from around the same time. also - byrds, cream, blind faith, traffic.
