Problems on normal reaction and coefficient of friction?

A uniform ladder AB, 5m long, weights 200N. It rests on a rough horizontal ground at A and against a smooth vertical wall at B. It is inclined at 30' to the vertical.

    (i) The normal reaction at A :

    NA = w = 200 N

    (ii) The normal reaction at B :

    Στ(A) = 0

    ----> NB * L * cos θ = W * 1/2L ) sin θ

    NB = (1/2) * w * tan θ

    = (1/2) * 200 * tan 30 = 57.74 N

    (iii) f = NB

    μ * NA = NB

    μ * 200 = 57.74 ---> μ = 57.74/200 = 0.29
