Acting scenes for two. Can someone give suggestions?

Hello, I am a drama student and have to choose an acting scene for next semester. Me and my partner are struggling to find one we both like.

Please suggest an acting scene (from a play) for a man and woman that follows these guidelines:

1. It has to be realism :/

2. The characters need to have more-or-less an equal amount of words

3. I would prefer a dramatic scene, although comedy is welcome as well.

4. It needs to be 5-7 minutes long (but dont worry too much about that, I can cut and edit etc.)

5. Oh and the male character needs to be a high-status character (i've played 2 low status characters this year and cant face another one)

6. IT MUST BE FROM A PLAY, NOT A MOVIE OR SERIES

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

THANKS, 10 pts

Try the play Rabbit Hole by David Lindsay-Abraire. There is a scene with Becca and Howie over Becca acciddently copying over the dead little boy's video. Read the synopsis it's a really good play and is dramatic. I am doing it with my boyfriend for competition. Also if you want comedic try the piece The Best Daddy by Shel Silverstein from An Adult Evening with Shel Silverstein, Sorry by Timothy Mason, and there is some funny scenes in the play Almost, Maine by John Cariani. If you are interested in Sorry or Rabbit Hole I have access to them. I just have to send them in an e-mail. Hope this help!
